Knicks: Free Agent Wish List

I'm very excited that the Knicks won the bird's right for Jeremy Lin and Steve Novak. I really would like to have both these players back, plus JR Smith. Now, let's talk about the Knicks and the list of players that I would like them to add via free agency. If you've been following the Knicks, you would know that we have some holes to fill in order to advance in the playoffs. One of those areas is the point guard position. We need a player who is a well respected veteran who can also mentor Lin. Here's my list of point guards who I feel can help the Knicks get to the next level:

Steve Nash: He's still playing at a high level. He'll be teaming up again with Amar'e and will bring back one of the best pick and roll offenses. I feel he'll give us the best shot at getting us a championship. Finally, he'll be a great mentor to Jeremy Lin. The price may be too high, but hey, you never know.

Jason Kidd: He is well past his prime, but his experience, smarts and ability to make the open three will help the Knicks get to the next level. He'll be teaming up again with Tyson Chandler to bring positive influence to the Knicks, just as they did with the Dallas Mavericks. Plus, he'll be a great mentor to Jeremy Lin. His price tag will not be high, so the Knicks do have a realistic shot in signing him.

Andre Miller: He is still putting up solid numbers. Also, he'll be teaming up again with Melo which can be helpful. His presence would really help the Knicks because of his all around play and experience. He'll most likely be around the Knicks's price range.
Raymond Felton: He played his best basketball with the Knicks. But was it because of D'Antoni's offensive style? Regardless of the coaching change, I feel that Amar'e and Felton can still work. Due to the low numbers he put up this past season, the Knicks can possibly sign him. How would he feel about backing up Lin? One way or another, I'm sure that Felton wouldn't mind coming back to the team.

What are your thoughts? Are there any other players you would add to the list (points guards and other positions)?

Trouble in LA?

I was checking the highlights of yesterday's game between the LA Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies and there was a little feud between Coach Mike Brown, Kobe Bryant and Metta World Peace. Mike Brown told Metta World Peace to sub in for Kobe and Kobe wasn't pleased about it. For more, click on the video below.
